As a recipient of the ABR designation (Accredited Buyer's Representative), and GRI (Graduate of Realtor Institute) as well as a few other designations. I believe that continuing my education (beyond the minimum requirement) is crucial in order to be successful in what I do.  These classes are on various Real Estate related topics such as financing in the luxury market, home staging, foreclosures, short sales, REOs (bank owned homes), new construction, land development, etc...  From 2007-2009, I was Chairman of the Scottsdale Luxury Home Tour and am active with the Paradise Valley Luxury Home Tour, Heart of Scottsdale Tour, Scottsdale Luxury Home Tour, Pinnacle Peak Home Tour, and Women's Council of Realtors.
